The Tillotson 225RS Engine Long Block is a top-of-the-line racing engine that has been designed to deliver exceptional performance for go-karting and mini-biking applications. The Long Block is fully assembled and includes a number of high-quality components that have been carefully selected to ensure maximum power output and reliability. At the heart of the engine is a 72mm Tillotson Block that has been engineered with extra webbing, bracing, and thicker material, producing a superior block to any other. The block has a bore of 72mm / 2.835" and is paired with a 55mm / 2.165" crank to deliver exceptional power and performance. The engine is equipped with a 265 Lift Tillotson Racing Cam that has a wide power band, making it great for mini bikes and go-karts. The cam is also equipped with a compression release for added convenience and ease of use. To provide added strength and reliability, the engine is equipped with heavy-duty retainers with automotive-style keepers and 26 lb valve springs that can withstand even the most demanding racing conditions. All in all, the Tillotson 225RS Engine Long Block is a top-of-the-line racing engine that is perfect for serious racers looking to take their performance to the next level.
Introducing the all new Tillotson 225RS Long Block. A long block is considered the complete crank case (assembled) with a complete race ready head bolted to it. All you need after you buy this long block is a spark plug, flywheel, coil, exhaust, and carburetor set up. This long block is already assembled with high quality parts, pre-clearanced, and the valve lash is set.

CAUTION! This long block is not for inexperienced builders/drivers. These engines are shipped with NO OIL. We recommend a high quality oil designed for splash oil systems such as Thor Oil or AmsOil 4T to provide better protection. Always keep 16 ounces of oil in the engine while in use. *Block does not have tabs for mounting a fuel tank.*
Break in will be required.
